MATRIX FITNESS CLUB TERMS AND POLICIES

COACHING @ MATRIX FITNESS CLUB

We understand that many of our members are experienced and advanced in their workout techniques and like to share their knowledge and assist each other in their workouts. However, any member or guest not employed by Matrix Fitness Club as a personal trainer is prohibited from engaging in Personal Training, Private Coaching, Team Coaching, Physical Therapy, or any related activity in our Club. Matrix Fitness Club reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to determine whether any act violates this prohibition.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

Any individual 14 years or older may join Matrix Fitness Club with parental or guardian approval via a signed parental waiver. Minors cannot sign a contract/agreement including the guest wavier required upon first visit. The minor’s parent must be present at the time of guest pass registration in the Club to sign the guest waiver and pay the guest fee. For membership, the minor’s parent must sign and consent to the terms of the agreement for the minor to be enrolled and provide acceptable billing information.

CELL PHONE AND CAMERA USE

Use of cell phones for phone conversations and videography is strictly prohibited in cardio and strength training areas, group exercise studios, and locker rooms. You are welcome to use cell phones in our reception and seating areas, and free Wi Fi is available. To ensure privacy, avoid including other members in your shots when taking photos or videos. The use of tripods is strictly prohibited. Photography or video in private areas such as locker rooms, massage treatment room, saunas, or during group fitness classes is prohibited.

CHECKING IN AND MEMBERSHIP KEY TAGS

Please scan your key tag each time you enter the Club. This improves security by distinguishing you from nonmembers. It also verifies the club access you’ve paid for, protecting the value of your membership. If you’d like to know how often you have used the Club (for insurance reimbursement purposes), it makes obtaining a Club usage report possible.

Key tags may not be loaned to another person. Allowing someone else to use your key tag will result in immediate termination of your membership.

All members will be asked to have a photograph taken in the Club upon joining. This is to protect the integrity of your membership and for security purposes.

PROPER ATTIRE AND CLOTHING

A shirt and shorts or athletic pants and closed-toe athletic shoes must be worn at all times in the fitness and exercise areas. Jeans, work boots, Crocs, slides, and other nonathletic attire and footwear are not permitted in our fitness/exercise areas.

SAUNA

  • A towel must be worn in the sauna at all times.
  • Use of cell phones or electronic devices are not permitted
  • Refrain from loud conversations, and be mindful of other members’ relaxation.
  • Do not bring food or drinks into the sauna or steam room.
  • There is a zero tolerance policy for any inappropriate behavior At Matrix Fitness Club. Failure to comply with these guidelines will result in cancellation of your membership.

CLUB USAGE FEES

Additional Club usage fees are charged for personal training, massage therapy, pro-shop and juice bar items.

LOCKERS

Our locker rooms have lockers for you to store your belongings while you work out. You must bring your own lock. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

We also offer self-serve lock boxes for valuables for one-day use at a very low fee.

The Club offers an option for you to rent a locker on a short term or annual basis. The fee is non-refundable, and the locker is non-transferable. Anything left inside a locker after the rental period has expired will be donated or discarded. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

PARKING

Parking is available for 3 hours max in our main or lower level parking areas

SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT

We are committed to the health of our employees and members. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in our Club, including all enclosed and outdoor areas of the Club and the entrance area immediately outside the front door. This applies to all smoking products (tobacco or other forms), i.e., cigarettes, cigars, pipes, and vapes.
